"Nyepi" Bali's Day of Silence
The Island of Gods, Bali, with its diverse arts, culture, customs, and traditions, always amazes people, making them want to comeback again and again, or even live there. However, amidst the hustle and bustle of life, there's one day that makes us reflect and do something in silence. In Bali, there's a day called "Nyepi," a Hindu religious day that occurs annually and lasts for one day. On Nyepi, no outdoor activities are permitted, no lighting, no work, and no entertainment. Everything stops, and everyone simply stays at home with their families.
Nyepi is not a gloomy day, but rather a warm one, a day that brings us closer to ourselves and nature. In the silence, we can find peace, reflecting on what we've done, what we want to achieve, and what makes us happy, allowing us to connect with our families, ourselves, and nature.
Nyepi celebration in Bali in 2026 falls on March 19, 2026, before that there will be a "Pengerupukan" which is a ceremony the day before Nyepi on March 18, 2026. The operational hours of Trans Studio Theme Park Bali will also be adjusted. On March 18, 2026, Trans Studio Theme Park Bali will still greet visitors from 10:00 WITA to 14:00 WITA, while on March 19, 2026 it will be closed all day. Trans Studio Theme Park Bali will be back to entertain all visitors on Friday, March 20, 2026 with the excitement of rides and shows that are ready to await.
